While Thinking about Thought, What is your First Thought?
Can you trace the Source and build a Context for that First Thought?

Rakesh Kumar: The inferential source.

Vaishali Sharma: Thought of life itself.

Prashanth Noorjet: When I think about thought, at first I feel something like awareness of myself which creates a falling feeling. After this I think what am I thinking of? And then onwards only this thought is in my mind. My mind keeps asking itself this question. The origin of the sinking feeling is difficult for me to explain. The emotion of awareness comes before the falling feeling. There is also a little anxiety. Then the cyclic thought of what am I thinking of may be my mind trying somehow to defend itself from troubling thoughts.

Amrutha MK: It will be about the idea of thought which is about certain things in the world. In thinking about thought I need to think that I am thinking, in my second thought I am aware that I am thinking about thought. Tracing a source for the first thought will be difficult. Context will be related to my beliefs and desires. First thought makes us aware that there is something to think, which develops a second thought in which I am aware of thinking.

Harikirhsnan NB: The first thought that came to my mind is “What is a thought?”. In the above case the question “Thinking about Thought” made me think about the first
thought- “What is a thought?”

Meera Kumar: While thinking about thought, the first thought would be about its inception, and how it comes to being, followed by the various ways in which it takes shape and later influences action, whether active or passive. The source of meta thinking processes could be the essential understanding of how to look at ones thinking patterns as a second person, in an objective manner. A systematic process of analysing the source, course, and impact of thoughts might be due to the analytical framework in which academic training has patronized thinking.

Niharika Sharma: Which part of the brain actually functions when we think: logical or emotional or intuitive? This is the thought which occurred to me when I was thinking about “Thought”. When I trace the source of my first thought it is curiosity. Ones thought depends on the surrounding and experiences that she/he had/have. Like I thought about the part of the brain maybe because I was a biology student.

PD Sathish Chandra: Way to process information of forming thoughts. My thought could be traced to the process of planning a visual thought from text i.e. Screen play to shot blocking.
